BUILT FOR SUCCESS

A certain old man walked up to me lamenting of how much a failure he has been all through his life. I
looked, not with disgust but a high level of shock cause I didn't expect such words from the mouth of a
man who I felt had seen a lot in life. When he was done with his speech, I asked him, 'what makes one a
failure?'...

Hello readers and visitors; thanks a lot for clicking that link; I promise to make it worth your data 😌😌 I'll love to appreciate Nifemi for this great opportunity and it's my first time here so I'll do a little bit of introduction. I'm Nnamdi of OfficialNnamdi blog (Inspiration, Lifestyle, Fashion and entertainment) and I believe that I'm BUILT FOR SUCCESS.
An individual is said to be successful when they accomplish an aim or purpose (attainment of prosperity). Failing at something, simply means you didn't succeed at it.
'I can do all things through Him that strengthens me' -Philippians 4:13
A screw driver was built to drive screws in or out so its compatible with the task. But if I decide to use a knife to do the job, in most cases it wouldn't work and even go as far as damaging the screw. Here's the lesson; you weren't built to be a failure so you're bad at it. The good news is- Even if you fail at something, you remain yourself.
I have a question before I proceed- 'What makes one a failure?'
'You ain't a failure until your LAST SEEN is GIVING UP'
You failed at something, so what? That doesn't make you a failure. Success is a journey; not just any journey but a rough and trying one.
Note these things when you fail
- You're not a failure
- What have I learnt?
- Time to plan and strategize
- Try again
- Don't give up.
   Remember naturally you are a success cause you got all it takes to succeed. So;
- Believe it
- Pray about it
- Work towards it.
The fact that you're built for success doesn't mean you won't work towards it. You could end up useless (e.g. a knife is meant to be used to slice stuff but bread won't come to the knife and cut itself). Success would not just come knocking on your door. Act!
I'll love to share one more thing.
'You might not have all that the successful people you know possess but you've got all it takes to be successful'. Do you agree? Are you convinced that you're built for success? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions in the comment section. Remember; LIFE IS WORTH LIVING!

REVELATION TUESDAY : CONFESSIONS

CONFESSIONS

Confessions are an admittance and public acknowledgement of a certain series of facts that the maker believes to be true. When an accused is put in the dock (accused box), the moment he confesses to a certain series of facts or evidences, it becomes reality for him with the consequences thereof. Just take a look at that, isn’t that really the case of Mankind today?
God is the Judge, Jesus being the Defence advocate, Satan being the accuser, both presenting their evidences before the court, and Man being the accused. Whatever evidence he (man) confesses to becomes his reality.
This foundational truth is seen in Romans 10:10 AMP “for with the heart A PERSON BELIEVES [in Christ as Saviour] RESULTING IN HIS JUSTIFICATION [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God (the judge)]; and WITH THE MOUTH HE ACKNOWLEDGES AND CONFESSES [his faith openly], RESULTING IN AND CONFIRMING [HIS] SALVATION.” So the salvation (deliverance from condemnation, poverty, sickness and Demonic oppression) of a man cannot come about except by CONFESSING his belief in the evidence of His advocate (Jesus).
The truth is that probably every Christian agrees on the abovementioned. However, just as this truth applies to eternal salvation (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in man), it also applies to the daily salvation of the mind of the man, which creates his reality. For effective functioning on earth, the mind needs to be renewed even after the soul is saved by the Holy Spirit. This was what Apostle Paul was speaking of in Romans 12:2 AMP “do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. He was telling the Christian folk in Rome here that having been saved, you’ve got to keep your mind on Christ’s evidence in your daily life, not staggering through unbelief, so that it would manifest God’s will for your life while on earth, because it is possible to be eternally saved but naturally conformable to the standard of the world.
God speaking to Joshua (Joshua 1:8 MSG) said “and don’t for a minute let this Book of Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate (mutter, speak, confess) on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you’ll get to where you are going; then you’ll succeed”. This means that in the success process, there is the believing, the SPEAKING, and then the acting upon.
Your confessions will feed you as they create your realities (Proverbs 18:20-21). Jesus attests you this kingdom truth in Matthew 21:21 “… if you have faith, … and do not doubt… if you SAY unto this mountain be thou cast into the sea, it will happen, if God wills it (that is as long as it is consistent with God’s word)”.
Your life is the character of your words in line with God’s word. No man is ever different from his confessions. It is important therefore, that as a child of God, you talk right. Put God’s word on your lips and keep yourself in health, safety, prosperity and victory. God bless you.
