RIGHTEOUSNESS REDEFINED

Good morning beautiful people. Am sure y'all had a splendid night. Hope you said your prayers?
Well this morning,  i stumbled upon something beautiful and i felt i should share.
More often than not, we do not understand what God actually expects from us or what exactly to do to please him.
This is why many have given up on true christianity, they would just rather settle for being a regular churchgoer.
But permit you to tell you that you have gotten it all wrong! Yes indeed...
God is not expecting anything from you.  He is asking you to do NOTHING! Yeah,  you heard me.
Does this girl even know what she is  saying" you might be thinking. Let's fall back on some authority:
Amplified Bible :
Romans 3:22
22Namely, the righteousness of God which comes by believing with personal trust and confident reliance on Jesus Christ (the Messiah). [And it is meant] for ALL who believe. (emphasis  is mine) 
  Romans 4:3
3For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed in (trusted in) God, and it was credited to his account as righteousness (right living and right standing with God).^(A)

^{These are not my words, it's all written there,  in the Bible. God requires nothing from you but to BELIEVE in His son,  Jesus Christ, who sacrificed his own life for the atonement of our sins through FAITH. Here is another keyword. The first one was Belief, niw the second is Faith. BELIEF and FAITH are knotted up together, remove one from the equation and you lose the other. They work simultaneously. Now some may be saying "I am a good person so God should have no problem with me even though I am not born again". True that,  you have good deeds but what distinguishes you as a child of God, the only missing link is your BELIEF in Jesus Christ through FAITH. The point cannot be over-emphasized. At the end of the day,  you are not justified by your good deeds but by your faith in Jesus Christ. FAITH is everything to a believer. You cannot do without it. It is Faith thay gives you acccess to GRACE(Unmerited Favor). FAITH gives you access to  God's glory. It is only by FAITH that anyone can please God So stop thinking for God; worrying about that test,  or what you will eat or that friend that is misbehaving,   and start believing. Faith is key,  remember,  personal trust and confident reliance.} 

It is not collective trust,  don't rely on the  faith of another,  your mum or dad or friend,  build your own personal trust in God.
